What is your favorite restaurant?
I know the prompt is “What’s your favorite restaurant?”—but honestly, I don’t really have a go-to spot for everything. I like to mix it up, follow my cravings, and explore new flavors. That said, there’s one exception I’ll always stand by: Pho 168. Because they serve theeee best pho I’ve ever had. No competition.
Their broth is everything—rich, aromatic, and clearly made with time and care. Add in tender rice noodles and perfectly cooked meat, and it’s basically a bowl of comfort. What really seals the deal for me is the way the meat is prepared. I love it when it’s seasoned just right with garlic and fresh cilantro—flavorful, savory, and layered without being overpowering.
And while pho is my top pick, I have a soft spot for most soups that follow a similar blueprint: a warm broth, rice or noodles, well-cooked meat, and some veggies on the side. It’s the kind of food that just feels good to eat—simple, hearty, and full of flavor.
So while I might not have a long list of favorite restaurants, Pho 168 will always have my heart (and my appetite).
