Are you a leader or a follower?
I consider myself a natural leader. I thrive in environments where there are problems to solve and complex situations to navigate. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about stepping into a challenge, staying calm under pressure, and creating clarity for others.
One of my greatest joys as a leader is building people up. I love identifying someone’s unique goals, strengths, and challenges—then helping them align those pieces to find their path to success. I’m a girls’ girl through and through, and nothing excites me more than watching other women win. Whether it’s through mentorship, collaboration, or simply being a sounding board, I show up for others.
When it comes to projects, I’m great at understanding the big picture and breaking it down into actionable steps. Delegation isn’t just about assigning tasks—it’s about matching the right person with the right responsibility so that the entire team thrives. A mission is only successful when everyone is empowered to bring their best.
That said, leadership isn’t just about giving direction. True leaders also know how to follow. I’m always open to receiving guidance and direction, especially when it comes from someone with a different perspective or more experience. I believe humility is essential to leadership—knowing when to lead, when to listen, and when to follow.
Leadership to me is not a title—it’s a mindset, a responsibility, and a commitment to helping others rise as you rise.
