How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?
There was a time when I saw a major setback as pure failure. I had invested so much in relationships—friendships, partnerships, connections—only to realize they were draining me rather than uplifting me. When everything fell apart, I felt lost, betrayed, and frustrated. But in hindsight, that “failure” was the best thing that could have happened to me.
It forced me to take a hard look at the people I surrounded myself with. Were they supporting my growth, or keeping me stuck? Were they adding to my life, or constantly taking from it? Letting go wasn’t easy, but it was necessary.
Walking away from unhealthy relationships created space for better things—peace, clarity, and genuine connections. It taught me that failure isn’t always the end; sometimes, it’s just the push we need to step into something better.
